The popular weekly magazine the Architects’ Journal (AJ) has launched its new iPad edition offering some exciting new interactive experiences for users.
The best-selling architecture publication is offering its new iPad app for free until April next year, giving existing subscribers access to exciting new interactive content and newcomers the chance to try a sample issue before committing to a subscription.
Bonus Property Photography to Feature on App
The launch of the iPad app opens exciting new interactive avenues to those interested in the magazine’s featured architecture – with bonus property photography, video and virtual tours and interactive floorplans now accessible in the tablet format.
Readers will be able to investigate the weekly building studies in greater detail using the new features, which will also offer links to the magazine’s great architectural reference resources.
Architectural Studies Available Online
AJ editor Christine Murray said the launch of the new medium allowed the popular title to build on its existing audience and offer users with an interest in architecture a more in-depth online experience.
She said: “We’ve worked hard to craft an edition that is in keeping with the AJ’s tradition and style, while making the most of the additional features offered by this new platform.
“We’ve lavished the most attention, rightly, on the building studies, which include interactive floorplans and technical drawings, bonus photography, maps and video. We believe we’ve created a great new way for architects to experience the AJ every week.”
