Property search giant Rightmove is seeking entertaining anecdotes about the property marketing process to feature on their website, and is offering three prizes worth £50 to the providers of the best house-sale tales.

Property Marketing Process Has a “Funny Side”
A spokesman for Rightnmove explained: “House-hunting is rarely a painless experience, everyone from landlords, buyers, estate agents and tenants are likely to have faced some less than ideal situations… but there can often be a funny side.”
“Whatever the story, we want to know about the amusing situations you’ve found yourself in when dealing with property,” they added.
Home Sale Anecdote Examples
The company have already published a number of the examples they have received so far, which include a “Groundhog Day” style viewing where a seemingly amnesiac house hunters turned up for appointment after appointment each time treating the home as if he had never seen it before, and a goth landlord who thought that namedropping a murderer would help with his property marketing efforts.
